Ten designs. Ten distinct characters. One proven collection.

A carpet can create a quiet foundation for an interior. But sometimes, the floor is allowed to do a little more.

That’s where Unique Jacquard comes in.

With ten different designs, the collection offers plenty of choice. From subtle patterns to more expressive designs, each has a character of its own.

Unique Jacquard has been part of our carpet collection for quite some time. And for good reason.

What is Jacquard carpet?

J
acquard carpet is a woven carpet in which pattern, texture and colour come together to create a
distinctive floor design.

Robusta’s Unique Jacquard collection consists of ten woven designs, offering different patterns and expressions within one collection.

Made from 100% polypropylene, the carpet combines design with practical performance. The collection can be used for both wall-to-wall applications and rugs, giving you different ways to bring pattern into an interior.

Start with the detail

Take a closer look at Jacquard and you’ll first notice the weave. The texture. The colours.

But a small sample only tells part of the story.

Take a step back, and those individual details start to form a pattern. Give the pattern more space, and you begin to see how the design can change the look of an interior.

Detail. Pattern. Space.

That principle is important when choosing Jacquard. Colour and texture can be judged from a small sample, but the character of the design is best understood when you see more of the pattern.

Why does Jacquard need space?

Jacquard patterns are designed to be seen across a larger surface. On a small carpet sample, you mainly see the material, colour and weave. A larger view reveals how the pattern repeats and how it works within an interior.

That doesn’t mean Jacquard needs a huge space. Quite the opposite.

It works particularly well in interiors where the choice of flooring is a considered part of the overall design and where there is enough visible floor area for the pattern to add something to the room.

That could be a living room, bedroom, suite or a smaller boutique setting. Jacquard can also be used to create a rug, making the pattern a more defined element within the interior.

Ten designs, each with a character of its own

There isn't one typical Jacquard look.

T
he Unique Jacquard collection consists of ten different designs:

  • Diamond
  • Giraffe
  • Herringstone
  • Steppingstone
  • Highway
  • Chevron
  • Massive Herringbone
  • Fade Giraffe
  • Blocks
  • Meander

Some are more subtle, while others make the pattern a much stronger part of the interior.

That range is exactly what makes the collection interesting. Different interiors ask for different solutions. Sometimes the floor needs to work quietly with the other materials in the room. Sometimes it can add contrast or depth. And sometimes you want the pattern to catch the eye.

Ten designs. Ten distinct characters. One proven collection.

Let the pattern set the tone

A Jacquard pattern can do more than add interest to the floor. It can help set the tone for the entire interior.

Pair a subtle design with natural materials and warm, neutral colours for a calm and balanced look. Or choose a more expressive pattern and let the floor become one of the defining elements in the room.

Think about the materials around it too. Wood, stone, soft fabrics and wall colours can all bring out something different in the pattern.

And because every Jacquard design has its own character, there is no single way to use the collection. A pattern can blend in, add depth or deliberately stand out.

That’s where the fun starts: choosing the character that works for your interior.

Where can Unique Jacquard carpet be used?

Unique Jacquard is particularly suited to residential and other design-led interiors where flooring plays a visible role in the overall interior.

It can be used as wall-to-wall carpet or as a rug, depending on the space and the desired effect.

Because the patterns need enough visible surface to reveal their full design, we recommend looking beyond a small sample when choosing a Jacquard carpet. Seeing the complete pattern makes it much easier to judge how it will work with furniture, colours and other materials in the room.

How do you choose the right Jacquard design?

Start by deciding what you want the floor to add to the interior.

Do you want the pattern to blend in and add subtle texture? Or are you looking for a floor that plays a more expressive role?

Next, look at the design at a larger scale. A sample will help you judge colour, texture and material, while a larger pattern view shows what the design really does.

Finally, consider the other elements in the room. Furniture, wall colours, fabrics and natural materials can all influence how strong or subtle a Jacquard pattern appears.

There is no single right choice. That is precisely why the collection offers ten different designs.
