Personal data we process

Robusta processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

• First and last name

• Phone number

• E-mail address

• Data about your activities on our website

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or a guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact us at sales@robusta.nl, and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

Robusta processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure

• To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary to perform our services

• To deliver goods and services to you

• Robusta analyzes your behavior on the website in order to improve the website and to tailor the range of products and services to your preferences.

How long we store personal data

Robusta does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data: 

• Contact requests and quotation requests: up to 12 months after the last contact, unless a customer relationship is established

• Newsletter subscriptions: for as long as you remain subscribed; data is deleted within 3 months after unsubscribing

• Customer data: for the duration of the customer relationship and thereafter in accordance with statutory retention obligations

• Administrative and invoicing data: 7 years, in accordance with Dutch tax legislation

• Website analytics data: anonymized where possible and retained for a maximum of 26 months

Sharing personal data with third parties

Robusta only provides data to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Robusta uses only technical and functional cookies, as well as analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remember your preferred settings. This also allows us to optimize our website. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously stored via your browser settings.

View, modify, or delete data

You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Robusta, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, or data transfer of your personal data, or a request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to sales@robusta.nl.

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

How we protect personal data

Robusta takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification.
